I purchased a usb2 card which uses 3 interrupt lines, and my motherboard usb1 ports use another. My problem was one of the usb2 interrupts tried to share with my modem, and the modem would not share it. After printing out the report and studying it, I learned the sorting of the interrupt lines on each pci slot, and was able to rearrange my pci cards around to get two of the three usb card ports to work. There are two OHCI ports and one EHCI port. By using one command in config.sys for ohci, it keeps the second ohci port inactive which is on the same line as the modem, therefore the modem works and I can use all the other usb ports. And by putting a powered hub on the EHCI port, I have great access to it. Franklin __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail - Easier than ever with enhanced search.
