Richard Meic discussing "Cat in the Box"
with me...
RM>>> It was one point of view, you cannot expect anyone to give all their
RM>>> ideas in one single long post like Frank does. ;)
RT>> What ideas? You've totally misunderstood the "cat in the box" scenario
RT>> and drawn (incorrect) conclusions from your misunderstanding. All that
RT>> one can glean from that is that you don't have a clue about the subject
RT>> matter but think that you do
RT>> Your point of view amounts to a discussion about apples when everyone
RT>> was discussing sheep
RM> Learn to communicate like an adult, and then get back to me.
Is that a reflex response for everytime you get a red face? As I state above,
you've clearly demonstrated that you do not understand the "cat in the box"
scenario and as such any conclusions you've drawn are incorrect as a result.
RM>>> The quantum world only comes into serious play on the sub-atomic
RM>>> level.
RT>> Even cutting edge physicists are not sure of this so how comes you are?
RM> Cutting edge physics are not sure about the quantum world, yet they
RM> base an entire theory on it? Man, are you naive.
Which once again displays your lack of knowledge on the subject. Do you know
what 'decoherence' is WRT QED and why it is not accepted by all scientists?
RT>>>> If you really want to learn about this then I suggest reading
RT>>>> something about it. "In Search of Schr”dinger's Cat" by John Gribben
RT>>>> (ISBN 0-552-12555-5 Black Swan) is a good non-technical place to
RT>>>> start
RM>>> Read it.
RT>> Why don't I believe you Richard?
RM> Because you are not adult enough to accept it.
No, because you claimed to have only have a vague recollection of an
experiment that is central to understanding QED, and not only because it was
the central feature of Dr. Gribbens book.
RM>>> I still hold the right to let my mind think what it wishes to, thank
RM>>> you.
RT>> You are indeed correct. However, if you post things that people
RT>> disagree with in a public echo then you should expect people to speak
RT>> up and explain why they think you are wrong. You would do no less I
RT>> presume
RM> I also expect people to be more mature in their methods of
RM> communication.
IOWs you been caught out again.
RT>> However, what I get from you is that you've already made up your mind
RT>> and no-one is going to change it. Hardly an open mind
RM> You will draw the conclusions you wish to and nothing I
RM> may say will change it, so perhaps there is no way for us to
RM> communicate.
Being honest will change my mind Richard.
RM> PS:
RM> I will give you one more chance to communicate like an adult and stop
RM> your aggressive messaging. Until then we have nothing else to talk
RM> about.
I hope you and your ego live happily ever after because I don't care if I've
got one or zero chances left to talk to you. I seriously doubt if you've got
anything to contribute anyway judging by what I've read of you so far.
