I've seen some adds somewhere (Sportsmans Guide?) for slugs designed to
work with the standard star fold crimp. I've never seen any ballistics
on them or a shooting study.
Still having never actually reloaded anything (my Lee Load-All II is
still in its box) I've often wondered over the necessity to use a roll
crimp with slugs. As in is it really necessary, and why. Do you know
anything on this for curiosity and discussion?
