I got a new 3/4hp pump from CTC today. $372 with taxes. :( The new one runs much quieter. I do believe that these are referred to as "jet-pump". I'll send you a picture and point to the area where the water seal was compromised. It came out the side. Meanwhile.. still losing water pressure. The pump kicks in every 17 minutes. Plumber is betting that it's the foot valve. That will get done some time Friday. JP> When I get back home, I will forward it to you. It is a 40 G JP> HD but same size as the HD in the 1300.
