After a grueling and PITA session with windows on this computer trying
to get it to run long enough to burn a music CD, I rebooted to ECS
which of course always runs great and checked my mail which had 38
newsgroup messages on it. The third one was the note of yours I replied
to of which I decided was noise and I just reacted to it. As I read
further through the notes I appreciated your later opining on this
issue which was much more informative and helpful to me to form some of
my own opinions. Usually a message such as which started this thread
leads to intelligent discussions that do pertain to our interests and
the group theme. As for me, I guess it really doesn't matter what IBM
does anymore, except hopefully will release OS/2 when they are done
with their contracts so the community, as small as it is now, can
continue as long as it's willing.
