ROFL!!! My minor experience with interrupt-driven comms was that slow was easy, and fast brought in a whole new set of problems. The slow stuff was the same right through. This has to be something strange, like a WAIT set too short. I started out setting WAITs absolutely on time, but ended up counting characters instead to make it independent of speed.
