No, she said/says "it should be configurable", but she herself has
configured the device in Windy, as the article in voice clearly proves.
If I would like/have to purchase the device, I'll have no Windy around
to get away with it.

Stan once had me on the loop for over 3 weeks by falsely claiming my
jacaranda card was compatible with wlan 1.10. It wasn't as it turned
out, version 1.12 had to be created to cure the defect. Check it out for
yourself at os2-wireless.

So I have 2 hearsayings (of which one is very unreliable) "it should
be", and one (from the Linux World) report it can't be done without the
Windy tool.

How can that be? The device is nearly for a couple of months on the market.

I'll put 3 obvious questions agian:

- if the device is configurable without the Windy tool, how to proceed
as just typing in 192.168.1.1 doesn't do the job.

- If it is that easy to do, why nobody is able to repeat the "easy" steps?

- Have you configured the device without the windy tool and with success?
