Yes, I have one regular 14400 no-EC caller.  Last thing I saw was a 40k
file transferred at 96%.  Admittedly that's not a big enough file to test
on.  Why don't you try calling at 14400 with EC (and indeed, 2400 *with*
EC) (just as part of your normal calls), and FREQ MSGAPI3X.ZIP again? 
Don't waste an extra call on it, we're not in a rush for the answer.  BFN.
