I have not found an OS that won't run as a VM (including the latest OS/2). 
The only thing that I have found to not work in a VM is the HPFS.  You must
use JFS as your file system if you plan to run OS/2 in a VM. 

All Windows versions, DOS, and Unix versions all work perfectly..  In many
cases, better than they do on a physical box.
