Hello Jean -

JP>> Oh ! Is there not a small routine available to validate a
JP>> USB port in DOS ?

CA>> I have spotted USB drivers for DOS in my wanderings about
CA>> the WWW but have not used/tested any of them.

JP> I am not the one needing this, I was asking for another
JP> user here.

Not needing the software or the information?

CA>> Use of alternate file formats such as NTFS, ext2fs, FAT,
CA>> HPFS, or any file system we wanted to access would involve
CA>> nothing more than a 'plugin' (daemon?) rather than what we
CA>> must deal with now.

JP> Maybe so. But if on W2K or XP, one is out of luck, they run
JP> on NT and I think that this is not DOS based at all. Just
JP> my opinion here.

those we do have.
