Sorry to hear that Sean. I am saddened about all the old timers giving up
on FIDO. 
But I guess time marches one and one must do what they must do.

As a side note don't pay too much a attention to Roy Witt.  I used to butt
heads with him in one of the Automobile Echos. I think he likes to argue to
hear his head rattle
