I just did a burn with --priority 3,2 and all seems well however I had burns go
OK before, it'll take a while before I know if the problem is really solved.
I use MKISOFS2 to create 2GB "chunks" of the DVD and then
concatinate them on the
DVDDAO commandline. I am burning 4.3 GB DVDs. So I don't pipe from MKISOFS2 as I
normally want to create several copies anyway.
Aha spe - that was the program I was trying to remember - it allows the
prioritisation of jobs on OS/2 and generally does a good job of it.
Anyway, with the --priority setting within DVDDAO, now set perhaps I wont need spe.
If this now works consistantly, the next step is to customise the settings within
AUDIO CD Creator to use DVDDAO rather than CD-Record, then I have a GUI frontend to
DVD burning as well !
