Currently running under Linux so I don't have a running copy of Allfix to 
find this eexactly but from memory:

The group and file area menus in Asetup have setting to tell Allfix where to 
get the descriptions from and in what priority e.g., File_id.diz, .tic; Long 
desc in .tic, File_id. etc. So, you will need to adjust this to suit 
yourself. Remember to to it at Group level as well as the individual areas.

If you have a lot of them to do I think you can also change them using the 
'G'lobal settings.

For the above I am assuming you are using Allfix v5.13.004 or v6.00.18.
