->  Many of us in GEMS used to finish the cleanup with a light coating

-> small pores of the metal contacts to delay corrosion resulting from

TW>  Actualy for hte medical equipment they recomended leaving the Contacts
TW> Dry. The Chips had a tendenacy to work their way out of the sockets
TW> anyhow with the Heatup/CoolDown cycles.

 We use fiberglass brushes on the chip legs
before reinsertion. We also use Caig brand
chemicals (like Deoxit) on critical contacts.
