subject: data overrun?

Bob, I noticed a problem with Binkley sending a 100k file to a 2400 baud
caller - there were numerous retries. I want to know whether it was
because of data overrun on my end. Since you are both a local caller and
have a small amount of mail, can you try calling me at 2400 bps, WITHOUT
error correction, FREQ "MSGAPI3X.ZIP", and seeing what happens?
Although my logs won't tell me that I had errors, I should be able to
ascertain from the xfer rate whether it was going fine or not. Here is an
example of it not going fine. I was watching at the time and saw the errors
happening (although they were quite strange - reporting trouble seemingly
before an error was reported on the backchannel, but I'd have to debug that
to be sure). BFN. Paul.
