| subject: | Windows 95 Question?? |
Not sure legal to ask question about W 95, but here goes. Am trying to
resurrect oldish computer for a granddaughter to use and am having problems
with playing regular music cds. With Win 95 CD PLAYER, music comes through
external speakers ok for just about 5 minutes, then speakers go silent and
CD PLAYER screen stops at that point. The cd drive light still flashes and
music is heard thru cd headphone jack. If I move mouse the slightest or
press a key, CD
PLAYER starts up again and music is back in speakers.
Same thing occurs with several music cd's. I down loaded program EASYCD
PLAYER
and exactly same thing occurs with it.
I do not have any screen savers in operation. Am wondering if there is a
win 95 system setting somewhere that could cause this. Or???
Happy Holidays to All,
Harold Dozier
