That beats me unless the software is not setup properly, I get the same
with either, INJOY, IBM Dialer, and PPP.EXE.  The only suggestion I can
give is check your configuration, to make sure you did not miss something
or, as I do quite frequently make a typing mistake.  Sorry I can't help
more.
