No really. If you look in your \windows directory after
installing "Warp v3 for Windows" or "OS/2 v2.1 for Windows" you
will see there are several new files; WINDOS.COM and WINOS2.COM in
particular. You will also see that WINDOS.COM is indentical to
what WIN.COM was before you installed OS/2. WIN.COM has been
changed, and is now identical to the newly installed WINOS2.COM.
WINOS2.COM and the new WIN.COM will not load the Windows code
"high" in a native DOS session, but otherwise will run.
WINDOS.COM, of course is the same as your original Windows
installation, and can be run in native DOS boot sessions to
reclaim some conventional memory instead of using the patched
WIN.COM
