Does this cryptic message say that Modem SuperStor has let you borrow those
3 modems before you buy them? I was going to suggest you can swap with my
Netcomm for a while, since I am now satisfied that I have the test results
I wanted (basically, disabling MNP10 fixes the major problem with hanging).
If I had my time again, I would buy a Yum Cha modem, instead of kidding
myself that the extra money spent to get a sysop-deal on an expensive modem
was actually going to achieve something.
BTW, someone has called about 5 times in the last hour, and is getting a
fax connection, which is taking about 10 minutes before it drops out. You
aren't trying out a shit-box USR are you?
BFN. Paul.
