 GB=> I have Microsoft Office 4.3 on a CD. It is easy to install on
 GB=> the desktop computer, but I want to install it on my portable.
Thanks for your tips. I may try to find a portable CD-ROM to 
borrow to install  Word. It sounds like it will be much easier, 
and much less risky.

Actually, the desktop is at home. I work at home. The portable 
is for away from home work, and work while the kids are playing
with the computer.   8-) I've got 4 kids, and that is a lot of 
demand on the desktop. I'm starting to let the older kids use 
the laptop to do their work on, so that my desktop is freer to 
use.
This is getting beyond topic. Thanks again for your tips.
