I haven't really noticed.  Of course, I have all kinds of necks in my 
collection and they're all quite playable for me.  The only neck that I have 
absolutely hated was the Parker Fly.  I knew as soon as my hand hit the back 
that I would never buy one.  I was faster than ever and couldn't play a wrong 
note, but I hated the shape of the neck.
