I didn't switch from RimStar--I had only used it in demo form.
VSE has a really great C++ tagging feature and understands C++
syntax, whereas RimStar didn't. RimStar also takes too long to build
the browser database. VSE is pretty quick at that. VSE's design
makes it much more configurable than any editor--all its dialogs and
code is complete changeable on the fly. VSE also has multiple
clipboards, a great keyboard remapping facility, and autoindents
pasted code automatically.
It's really a great product.
