-> It really was a sight.... and not too long ago.... well twenty years
-> iosn't long is it? Seems like yesterday almost.
A sky full of Amazons in flight would be burned into my memory. I'll
never forget the sight of just one B&G macaw flying from a tall tree,
practically grazing my head and landing just in front of me. That's
been my ultimate standard of beauty for 10 years at least. I'll be 49
in a few days, so I do know how 20 years of memories rattle around in
the head. :-/
-> why THEY can't have.... But I also can't tolerate them just TAKING
-> it.
That doesn't sound like my idea of merging with nature. I'm paranoid
just going shopping in Charlotte.
-> After thirty years here I can cuss and count, find the Bano, and
-> order a beer... Other than that I try to keep my mouth shut and
-> listen real hard.
I was a Spanish major, but I've forgotten most of it. It was actually
mostly like an English major except you read Borges and Garcia Marques
and wrote papers in spanish. I tried to get real small when the
professor asked questions in class, and we were expected to speak the
language. Uh oh, majorly off topic, and I can't even think of any
clever way to atone. . .
