GG> Actually, that's not correct either. It's officially
GG> stated to be a "Windows
GG> 32" version. This from the "README.1ST" file in the package:
> Beta Win32 version of Maximus
> -----------------------------
>
> We have now made available a public beta of the Win32 version of
> Maximus for Windows NT and Windows 95.
But It was developed for and is called Maximus NT (Note the tearline) gary
and it works with a 32 bit front end mailer in Windows NT. I think the "for
windows 95" in the readme.1st was an add on before the full impact of not
being able to run Max NT in Windows 95 was realized. As I recall there is
some documention about it and it was a subject of discourse in the Muffin
conference when it was first released.
In any case, Maximus NT was developed by and for NT which is why it's called
Maximus NT not Maxiumus 95, which was the point of the message I was replying
to.
