Hi Mike,

  My advice would be to use the RJ45 (ethernet) port and forget the USB
port.

  Use Injoy Firewall (not dialer) on your PC to connect to the ADSL modem
via ethernet using the PPoE protocol to log in to Telstra and to share the
network out to other PCs on your LAN (If required).
