-> Either way, it will be a bit of work. The patch is not accessable
-> from the inside without doing major surgery.
Dan: I guess the patch on the outside will be the only way to go. A
couple of years ago I met an old neighbour, he damaged the bow on his
cruiser and wanted to know if I knew someone to patch it up. I didn't
want to get involved with it myself. I think there was some serious
fixing to be done. I maynot not be able to do a GOOD job on fiberglass
but at least it would look respectable. I would imagine one of these
days I will have some patching work to do. I have come pretty close a
couple of times, the outboard stalled while docking and I brushed the
dock.

-> If you read the label, you will probably see that it contains

-> however. They can make a bad finish look good, at least a while.
Dan, you are talking to someone who doesn't even like to wax the car,
so for me waxing a boat will be once a year! I think acetone is a
petroleum based chemical, just refined differently. A really good
cleaner but you have to work fast with it!
Just think another three months and it will be time to start
undressing (tarp) the boat. I hope we have an early spring.
