You might also want to ask these people how long that they keep a bird that 
isn't producing. I talked to a breeder near Houston that does mostly 
cockatoos. Her words to me were, she gets rid of them if they don't 
produce after being at her place for two years.
Maybe that's the difference between running a business and being a 
rdkeeper.
