subject: Pillips power converter

CH> I have a pillips power converter for an RV, takes 110 ac at 3.05
CH> amps and converts it to 12.7 dc at 20 amps. according to the
CH> panel on the front you could also use as a battery charger, my
CH> question is this.... What would happen if you ran the 12.7 dc 20
CH> amps thru the output side of this thing would i be able to get
CH> 110 out of the other end???
No. They are not designed to be a voltage inverter.
It would be the equivalent of trying to get electricity from a light
bulb by holding it up to sunlight.
