Well, I have now tried installing ECSv1.2 on 3 different machines, all of
which I was able to install ECSv1.1. but to no success now with v1.2
 
Motherboards are
 
Asus A7n8x deluxe
Syntax K7Sv266AD
Toshiba Laptop 2060CDS
 
I'm not so much concerned about the laptop, but on all the install attempts
I reduce all drivers to the bare minimum, and disconnected and cards or
devices that could cause a hang.
 
The machines seem to hang on the terms
 
installed os2lvm.dmd
 and or
installed os2scsi.dmd
 
I don't even get to the 2nd phase of the installer.
 
I found v1.1 a bit of an install problem, what with networ, sio, ans scsi
problems, but this 1.2 seems much worse and I had expected a vast
improvement.
 
Is it me, or are others having problems?
 
Anyone succeeded with the motherboards listed?
