Hi Charman,
Are you referring to the seed pod? It usually takes several months after the
bloom is gone before the seed pod is mature and falls to the ground.
I saw a magnolia seed pod angel last year at a craft show. They are cute.
Our seed pods here are too big to fit the size requirements, at least I
saw 4" posted for the 1996 COE
