As Told already, drive letters for HD and removables as HD are ruled by
os2dasd.dmd + os2lvm.dmd whereas drive letters for CD/DVD drives/burners
are ruled by os2cdrom.dmd . You can't combine these togheter, both *dmd
systems are imcompatible, in respect to each other they are on different
planets.
Mind the *dmd extension, mind the fact lvm has to write it's information
onto the partition itself. Devices whereto lvm can't write it's
information to are out of it's scope.
