Not really Geo. People wanted to believe (like the Tulips way back when).
The numbers actually sucked in many/most cases as I recall, but "it
wasn't a problem" because they were just laying the groundwork toward
untold billions. Sure, the investment potential was oversold, but not based
on true (or falsified) numbers.
