Got an email from a guitarist buddy who went to an audition.  Said that
this was my gig, not his, so he gave me their number.
Get this:
Even older farts than me (all in their early 40's, with day gigs).
Totally classic rock covers
P.A. system of DEATH (4 JBL arrays), Mackie board, all sorts of eqpt
Everyone sings, and WELL.  Harmonies are incredible.
Can get gigs almost immediately.
Other guitarist/singer has a JCM900 (5881) full stack (of which he uses
10w)
Bassist plays keys (Korg M1), guitarist plays bass
Singer has great whiskey voice
Best of all - they think I'm good.  Boy are they silly.  :)
Heading back on Tuesday night to start working.  This might be the one.
Well, ok, the singer likes `Live', but I think I can work with that.
