From: "Glenn Meadows"
Oh, and about 5 years ago, someone scammed one of my CC numbers, and
started making charges on my Visa account. Caught it the second month,
when I looked closely, and saw a monthly charge for an EarthLink account,
which I never had.
While I was on the phone with their Fraud department, a charge attempt came
in from MacMall.com, which the lady asked if I was purchasing something
right then. Told her no, which was when they shut the card down.
Took a couple of months of back and forth, but I eventually got all the
charges and interest taken off the card. Not a fun time, at all.
