Yeah, I am going to get X-Win running on my old release,
save the config file for reference than check back on the site where 
I got the 26 Meg. 8.1 for the package listings for minimalist
X-Win and replace my release with that one :-)
I believe I'm close to getting X-Win up as I've standard
hardware. The only stumbling blocks, I think, are the directory
refered to in the book that had the CD does not exist
and I ran XF86config before I set the environment
thus the generated file's not linked.
3/4's of what's under /slackware/x is not required
from what I can see, a bit more if you're running a
full featured browser in a GUI.

a upload and download directory for 3.5.
