Good Heavens! (-:

Are we speaking about the wireless 2.4 Ghz router? (it doesn't hurt to
be as complete as possible, you know? - makes it so much easier for
those wanting to help you)

Short history, I have 2 toys like that around (= at the neighbours), and
none of them is able to use DHCP. They only want to work properly when
being forced to a static IP address (meaning, they can't assign an ip
address to DHCP requests and they don't answer to to them assigned IP
addresses too), and we had to retry over and over again before having a
workable situation. Once you have achieved that, you have to save the
settings IMMEDIATELY to a file, otherwise, when the damn thing goes down
again, you have to redo from square one.

So, rest assured, it's not about you nor eCS but about crap hardware
which hallmark seems to be instabillity. For some reason the device
apparently can't cope with the combination mozilla+OS2. 2. Years ago I
got a wireless Linksys router, which had exactly the same phenomenae, I
never got it working. Makes part now of my collection of crapware. As
D-Link has taken over Linksys, it could well be your router has exactly
the same internals.

Maybe a firmware upgrade could help, maybe ....

I for myself got me an SMC router, 25 % more expensive, for 100 % better
and absolutely stable. The higher price doesn't stand for better
materials but for more testing prior to the launching on the market.

Just a suggestion.
