subject: Snipe

Hi Derek,

There seems to be a multitude of 'snipe' tools, which one do you prefer,
and the website to obtain?

Btw, was there a delay in the Manual availability, I received a photocopy
with my purchase of ECSv1.2, will the proper one be forthcoming later?

Thanks

For that, I use a Windows-based tool, which handles both the locating
and the last-second bidding. I "snipe" everything, and I don't even
have to be here, or awake!, to win my auctions.

Having completed over 1175 auctions on eBay, as both a buyer and a
seller, I need a complete, comprehensive tool to manage it, and one
that is still in active development, since eBay seems to change the way
their bidding pages come up, all the time - which means a program that
isn't updated for the change will no longer be able to submit bids on
my behalf.

When you're bidding with 15 seconds left, you need accuracy and speed!

The eMail-you-if-we-find-something-you-asked-for functionality is from
eBay itself, and OS agnostic. You simply search for something, then
tell eBay to send you eMail if they spot something that gets posted for
sale in the next several months - that way, you don't have to spend all
day checking and waiting... which can add up to huge amounts of time if
you're searching for a variety of items under different searches.

That said, we're straying from the topic of this list, so I'll end
here.
