Yes. And everything seems reasonable. I called DLink, gave them the
address the router reported, they said I was connected, which I was
thru XP\Mozilla, but not OS/2.

Sounds weird.
iPOP was running while I was trying to connect. It never made contact
with the Charter mail server. But if I ping charter.net I get a response.
