Alan,

I'm going to say something remarkable ...

AI> I don't know if any change to policy will ever come to pass.

I don't really have that much of a problem with P4.

The real problem is how several of the articles are interpreted by the
different zones.

Yes it has been written by and for Z1 and is interpreted by and to benefit Z1
as well as to accomodate its operational environment. Should we re-write it,
it's not going to change anything.

Well, Z2 is interpreting it also for its own benefit and to accomodate its own
operational environment. This has worked for 20+ years and it's not as if we're
coming to a screeching halt right now.

P4 has not been developed with the aspect of "international" in mind nor
"perhaps there is a different way to do it" nor "perhaps it's not done like
that 'overthere'". Just my way or the highway ...

Not a single new nor adapted text will make the discussion go away, it'll just
be a different discussion ... just as unproductive. It helps to understand the
processes though when you have spent the number of years in the US that I have.
Micromanagement is the true religion there. Everybody is the true expert on the
constitution, the Supreme Court are a number of dingbats and your chances of
being shot in the street by a civilian are 1200% higher than by a criminal.

Is this Policy preventing me from calling Janis a bitch and she calling me an
asshole? No? So what's the problem? It works ...

Z1 has always been on a collision course and that is not going to change. It's
the US' attitude in real domestic life, it's the US' in real life politics ...
"whatever we do, we do it better ourselves" ... it is hammered into them every
morning ...

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to
the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible,
with liberty and justice for all.

Under God? Indivisible? Liberty and justice for all?

You guys really believe that? What crap! No wonder there are that many Mormons
overthere, some people will believe anything and indoctrination is a
permissable training tool.

Priorities, priorities, priorities ... my good friend Russ overthere, a devout
Mormon, told me one Saturday "No, I can't go with you for a steak this evening,
can't afford it. BTW, have I told you about the screaming deal I got on that
$7.000 rifle?"

But if it works for them, it's none of my damned business and so it's none of
Z1's damned business how we interprete P4.

Let's not forget that the USA are the only nation on Earth, so far, that
managed to land a man on the Moon and bring him back alive. It's quite an
engineering feat and what a space-program. Of course there's the minor detail
that the design team which produced the Atlas rocket was headed by a Belgian by
the name of Charly Bossaerts, or that the Saturn rocket that lifted the payload
for translunar injection was developed by Wehrner Von Braun, a German and
prominent ex-Nazi, that the electronics of the Apollo cabin were built with
components designed by an Hungarian etc...

People also accept that it took 7 million dollar to develop a pen that would
write in weightlessness ... the Russians used a 10 cent pencil.

Once everybody gets over that, we can go and have a beer. Otherwise I'm wasting
my time here.
