Hello Keith, long time no see! It's good to see your name again.
Actually, an article I saw on UFO updates (but somehow managed to lose)
said the Mexico video could have been easily faked using inexpensive
equipment. It explained the mechanics of how it could have been
accomplished, and I will endeavor to find the article again from another
source. One factor is whether or not the available video is first
generation or not. If not first generation, manipulation is quite easy.
I want very much for one of these sightings to be real, but frankly,
I think the Mexico video looked like a model suspended on a string
(the way it wobbled), superimposed with the apartment buildings as
a backdrop in reverse.
I also held high hopes for the Phoenix lights to be real, but I've
seen evidence that these were just flares dropping behind a mountain
ridge during an exercise by the Maryland National Guard.
At first, the military denied there were any aircraft in the area.
Later, the MNG fessed up. Actually, I suspect the exercise of being
one to determine the reaction from the public after seeing what
could easily mistaken for a giant UFO by those of us who see aliens
behind every bush. ...And unfortunately, some of us do! It is this
minority of us that has made the UFO enthusiasts the victim of abuse
by many of the hardcore skeptics, some of which are gung-ho to ridicule
believers. Fortunately for me, I was willing to view both the Mexico
City video and the Phoenix video with a view from both sides of the
fence. I am convinced the Mexico video was a fake, and the Phoenix
lights incident a terrible prank by our military on the general public.
Regards,
Jack
