    Do you know if there are any FidoNet BBSs that are local to you? If so, 
you might ask the sysop if the QEDIT Echo (Fidonet calls newsgroups "Echoes") 
is available in your country.   This mailing list is being ported into 
FidoNet and I am reading it as a BBS message area and have no problem going 
back a few weeks to check information on a old message.
