Yeah, and I was in the deepest depths of my disease....
1985 was the year that I first missed paying the IRS that lead
me to be further and further into debt....
1985 was the year I lost my driver's license due to the simple
inability of maintaining a payment schedule to my insurance
company (ah the truth comes out) and had an accident under
the influence.... of marijuana.....I was a very angry
driver....
1985 was the year that saw the begining of the end of a lot
of things that were held dear to me.. ie the constant break
downs of my Harley, of which I sold the next year because
I could not afford the repairs.. which was directly attributable
to drinking and using...
1985 I was only 24..... and heading for the bottom very quickly
and enjoying every minute of it and justifying it too!
not knowing that in only four years I would hit the doors of AA...
and in 5 years get my first day sober (1-1-90)
and I was one of the lucky ones...... I stayed despite slipping and
sliding around the first 90 days there... and still got sober before
the age of 29.....
Tim....
... what'cha gonna do?
