this is incorrect... USE ZONE is /only/ to restrict FD to the zones listed
instead of using all zones in all available nodelists...

for most systems, USE ZONE is not needed... in the days of small harddrives
and slow systems, USE ZONE may have been of some assistance... these days,
it is not worth having in the config as its actual effects are
non-existant...
