As best as I can determine, the echomail problem has been solved, by other
people. As far as I can tell, this is what the situation was and is now:
Was: Michael Butler brought in the echomail via the internet, with David
More paying the $US360/year to the people in the US, and Dave Hatch was
the person who connected all of Sydney and the other states together
(basically 50 people called him).
Now: Alywn Smith (Brisbane) is bringing in the echomail via the internet,
with himself and Paul Marwick paying the $US360/year, and Ted Harrison
(Sydney) connecting all of Sydney and Australia together (the 50 people
will now be calling Ted Harrison).
I do not know who will be bringing the echos in from Brisbane to Sydney,
or who will be paying for them, but I am told that there is nothing to
worry about. For another 3 months, Dave will continue to have all the
echos available, and I will be feeding off him. What happens after that,
is something that is TBD, but nothing to worry about. I may end up being
a hub myself, it will be up to the new N711 NC. There will be an election
for the N711 NC. BFN. Paul.
