Buddy drove X again tonight -- gosh, they are BOTH getting good at this
stuff now !!! X is VERY alert but he doesn't shy at anything
....... well, ALMOST nothing.....
Howard from up the street come tullee boppin' down the road in his
go-cart ...... well, X looked at it as it was coming towards him ......
everything was fine until they got side by side ...... X "sort of" went a
little sideways (I was scared to death he was going to "take off" - he
didn't). Buddy very calmly talked to X and everything was fine again and they
continued on just like nothing had happened.
I was riding Sham and we had fallen in behind the carriage as I saw
Howard coming our way -- shoot, I wasn't sure what EITHER horse would do as
they had never seen a go-cart before. Sham was upset (but then she had BEEN
upset all evening - she doesn't like that carriage -- she doesn't like X --
she was in heat ((and that really explaines her 'itchy attitude )).
Well, she hopped thisa way, then thata way, crow hopped a bit ..... heck, X
was all over it in just a second or two -- Sham was acting up for a good 10
mintues after that.
Sooooooooo, that's the story of tonight's ride. I sure like the looks of
X and that carriage!!
