There are some SOM DLLs in the Watcom package that are an earlier
version than what Warp uses.

That's disappointing. I was getting kind of interested in the Watcom
compiler, but after reading something I got from MetaWare (an
independent review of MetaWare High C/C++ by Johnathan De Boyne Pollard
(Hope I spelled all that right)) I'm VERY interested in that. Either
the IBM compiler or the MetaWare compiler are good choices, as long as
you have a decent machine to run them on (esp the IBM one).
