Hello Frank
FV> First of all, there's a more recent version called SOP9650, though
FV> the previous versions are excellent as well.
FV> The only places I know of to get these programs are the local BBS
FV> that I first found them on, and (far better) the BBS that's run by the
FV> author of the programs (called RPV Astronomy BBS). If you (or
FV> Anyhow, the BBS's number is (310) 541-7299 [2400-14400 @ 8-N-1],
FV> or try his new WWW Home Page, which recently came on line (but is
FV> still under construction) at http://www.mindspring.com/~dransom.
FV> into two files called SOP9650A.ZIP and SOP9650B.ZIP; the other
FV> program is called TLEMOP1Y.ZIP (and, most likely, they're all named
FV> the same on the Web Site). One file you might want to download from
FV> the BBS (which is probably on the Web Site too) is RPV.ZIP; it's a
FV> list of all the zillions of files and programs available for download.
FV> It's a lot easier (and cheaper) to read through it offline at your
FV> leisure.
Thanks for the help it is much appreciated. I don't know about my
calling LD, but maybe I could get my buddy to surf over to the web page
for a look.
FV> Well, that's it. Happy listening and Merry Christmas!
Hope you had one too and Happy New Year. Have a good one. Take care.
PS: I might lose my access here soon so if I disappear I can be reached by
Fido netmail at 1:248/206.
Happy scanning...
