subject: NT Server ISP`s

Hi Frank,
-> My opinion is that your providers system is chocked full of
-> Windows specific wannabee Web standards while Linux (and
-> others) follow more tried and true standards. I'll bet
-> almost anything that if you connect to that same exact ISP
-> using all Windows stuff you'd have no problems.
You were right. At the time I signed up they'd just installed a new MS
proxy server for NT. It seemed even the Windows users were having the
same problems. Fortunately, they've ironed out the glitches. Even my ZOC
telnet works now too, although don't know why it should have been
effected.
Rgds,
Stewart
