JT> The next call started at 28.8, line level -28dBm, eye
JT> quality 38, and was slow to react, about five minutes
JT> into the call (after quality got better) level was still
JT> -28dBm, eye quality was 22, and speed dropped to 26.4 .
RS> The eye quality is a measure thats DEPENDANT on the speed in use.
RS> Its not an independent measure of the line quality. So the reason
RS> the eye quality improved was BECAUSE the line speed was dropped.
I had another dropout in the middle of a menu last night, my modem reported
a "normal" disconnect by remote. Is this where I get paranoid and suspect
a conspiracy?
The next connect on another line was at 26.4 with level of -30dBm, EQ of 3.
It worked fine. I didn't get stats of the first bad one, what should I be
expecting for the eye quality number?
