Not just an LED, although the cheapie has only a single fan
incorporated, you get twin cooling fans with the other two, which makes
for longer life of the SATA drive

Roberto & Duncan,

I thought I was just giving you a definite solution - every drawer has
its *own* activity LED - independent of the single MOBO one
which obviates problematic situations with very quiet drives where you
can't tell if it's safe to power-off a system in certain circumstances.

I'll shut-up now!
